Gold Medal Wine Label

Orange County Fair Commercial Wine Competition: Jurors awarded my painting “The Queen of Kelp” a Gold Medal in their "Figurative Art" category for Kelsey See Canyon’s 2020 Orange Muscat label! Check out this special wine when you visit. Their wines won numerous gold medals in this competition!

If you’re not familiar with Kelsey See Canyon Vineyards, this special winery was started as a retirement dream of my Uncle, who used to tend my grandfather when he was an abalone diver, then went on to work the family tug business. Staying consistent with the diving and ocean theme, Kelsey winery uses exclusively my artwork on their labels. If you pay a visit, make sure to stop in the tasting room and see a gallery of my artwork, fine art prints and cards, black and white photos of my grandfather diving for abs and the 7’ hand painted surfboard, “The Kiss.” They are now doing table service outside in a safe environment.
