San Luis Obispo’s ‘Concerts in the Plaza’ Artwork

In 2019, San Luis Obispo, CA’s non-profit voice for a vibrant community, ‘Downtown SLO’selected me to create artwork for their popular ‘Concerts in the Plaza’ series. I designed the “Party in the Plaza” image above, inspired by musicians L to R: Reuben Rodgers, Laura Foxx, Nick Waterhouse’s Backup singer, and Gordon Au on trumpet.
Then in 2020, all concerts were postponed; there were no “Parties in the Plaza.” But NOW, the concerts are on again, August 6-September 24, 5-8 PM, and my poster art is being released! Get the full line-up for ‘Concerts in the Plaza’ here: https://downtownslo.com/events/concerts
