San Luis Obispo Museum of Art’s Digital Residency

In April, San Luis Obispo Museum of Art accepted my art in their Digital Residency Program. For a week, SLOMA featured my art and inspiration on their Facebook and Instagram Pages. Artwork included paintings of musicians, my recent mural, "Avila Beach Ocean Stewardship, Past & Present," and historical photos of my Portuguese grandfather, Tony Sylvester. His 1930s diving and nautical roots inspired my 26-panel murals for Avila Beaches’ 2 lifeguard towers.

SLOMA’s Digital Residency also includes an online interview and studio tour. I was excited to reveal a new heart-warming mural I’m working on now, “Remember.” Please enjoy a video peek inside my studio and learn why this work-in-progress is so special: https://www.facebook.com/colleen.gnos
